Anyone as bored as me?

Nope no matter which way I say it…I am still bored. My life never used to be boring. We all went through our childhoods having fun – being kids! Not a care in the world! We hardly had responsibilities – if any they weren’t that huge…Now I think that! Boy oh boy…Somedays I would give my left arm to go back to those carefree days. But then we grow up…move away from home and either go to college, university or just start a full time job! And then the bills start pouring in. Some of us may have lawns that need mowing, plants that won’t water themselves, and dishes that keep piling up faster than we can get to washing them! I don’t want to be bothered by washing all those dirty dishes. Or watering my poor bamboo that is in dyer need of a cleaning!! But I just get so darn lazy. When you work everyday from 8 – 5, 5 days a week, your life becomes so routine and boring. Work is boring. Half the time I could just sit here staring at the wall. And the only thing getting me through the day is the radio!! Thank goodness for music!!! And now that winter is upon us, I am driving to work every morning – it’s in the dark. Driving home at 5? In the dark! It’s DEPRESSING!!!!! It’s freaking ridiculous!! It’s FRIDICULOUS!!! (thank you chandler for the inspiration) Well then of course by the time I get home and eat supper – it’s pitch black outside! Who feels like washing those dishes then!? Please tell me!!! And the bills….come like clock work every month! And since I am the oldest and living with my younger sister, I am the one who is lucky enough to deal with those pesky things. The two things I hate the most about being on my own? Putting gas in the car!! And grocery shopping!!! Two things that I will never not be able to be without, but that I really do not enjoy. I miss the days of joining mom at the grocery store, pushing those little carts – good times, good times.


The thing that is driving me crazy these days at work - FREEZING TO DEATH! Our heating/cooling system in this building is completely wacko! No telling what temperature it will be everyday! We can cook to death in here in the middle of winter! And the summer? I've had heat stroke wearing a tank top and shorts around the office – with 3 fans blowing HOT air around!!! It’s fridiculous!!! It’s bad when winter comes and we need to have the air conditioning on! VERY BAD…Sure I have a little baby heater in my office – but it’s such a dry heat! Then I feel all sickly and just want to sleep…It is a lose lose situation here!!! LOSE LOSE!


I just wish I wasn’t at work right now…I would love to be at home, sitting in front of the tv – watching Oprah…or a movie! Just vegging…but noooo, I have to be at work! And today I get to go shopping – for coffee supplies!!! That’s right – the one thing I enjoy doing soo much! GROCERY SHOPPING!!! FOR WORK!!! I don’t even drink the stuff! I get to be the gopher! Ah, how I love my life…And these days at work, I get to be the gopher when I have nothing better to do at work! I don’t have a whole lot to do…I even get to go for work stuff tomorrow morning – that’s right! SATURDAY!!! Thank you! I’m just being way too nice of a person – I said I was going out that way anyways – so I may as well just shop for work while I’m there! Why? Why do I do this to myself? I don’t want to shop for work! Awh, well…Too late now…said I was gonna go and I can’t take it back! The only thing that makes me look forward to running errands for work? My car, Farrah…yup that’s what I named her. LOL. She’s a lot of fun to drive and with the stereo cranked I enjoy driving! But’s just sooo cold out there, it is absolutely no fun having to get all bundled up, to brave the cold and get into a freezing car – with leather seats – that feel even colder than it feels outside!! I hate having to leave any warm sheltered area behind!
